A Little About Here To Help...(and yours truly!)

Hi and thanks for stopping by! Here To Help is a lifestyle blog and information site which is all about helping you to love your life.  You will hopefully find lots of great ideas to inspire and motivate you to improve your own health and wellbeing and to become a happier and more balanced person, whether you're a busy parent working in the home, juggling a hectic career and a busy family life, or you're simply trying to find a little more work/life balance.  If you've lost a little zest for life recently, hopefully you will be motivated and encouraged by what you read on the Here To Help website.  

The reality is that many of us race from one week to the next, trying to juggle a busy and often stressful career, balancing a busy family life and taking care of not only our partner and our children, but also family members such as our parents who may need a little extra care as they get older. Because we are often time-poor, our own needs can get pushed to the bottom of the list and it's difficult to find ways to redress the balance. As more and more of us are suffering from everyday stresses such as financial pressures, juggling family life and managing a busy career, this puts increasing pressure on our health and wellbeing and many of us don't get enough sleep or enough rest to be able to cope with all the demands put upon us everyday.

To give you a little background about me...I have over 22 years' experience working in very busy and often stressful environments so I know a thing or two about how stressful life can be!  Since a health scare which came out of the blue in 2008 and another minor illness in 2010, my focus ever since has been on living in the moment, taking life as it comes, avoiding stressful situations and negative people and on being as happy as I can.  Life will always throw some surprises our way, but it's our attitude to them and how we handle them that can determine the effect they will have on us.  

This site has been designed by me to help you find some motivation during those times when you are feeling at a low ebb and are in need of some new ideas and a little inspiration.  I'll be adding new inspirational articles and bits and pieces to the site over the coming months so hopefully you'll find something you like!
